Delighted to get your reply. I can remember my father talking about an Uncle Albert.
My father was Robert, his father was also Robert Born 1888 Died 1916. This Robert had 7 sibblings - one of which was Peter Palmer Bray Born 1878 married to Mary A Weldon. Is this your branch?

Hi Carol, Having got completely in a mess and abandoning the family tree on my Dad's side I'm now determined to see this through. I've asked my Aunt and Uncle about the Bray's and they couldn't remember the name of their grandparents just that one was Peter Palmer Bray born in 1878 which is our common ancestor. This is what I know for certain.
My Dad was Derek Bray - siblings (Joyceen) Barbara, Mary Ellen, (Anthony) John.
Mr Grandad was Albert (m Ivy Ferrier) his siblings were Doris (Doll, George, William (Bill), Gus, Peter and Robert (your Dad??)

The names you have mentioned are the same,
Peter Palmer Bray B. 1877 D 1966
sibblings: Mary,Ann,Ernestine,Susanna,Blanch,Robert (my grandfather) Olive, Hannah.

Peter Palmer had children: Peter,Rupert,William,Doris,Albert.

I go back 1770.
