My mother was evacuated to badminton house during the first part of the war. she stayed with mr and mrs burbridge who lived at the kennels. she remembers queen mary coming and taking the children gardening to pull down ivy from the trees. is there anyone who was also evacuated from tindal street schoolin 1939? does anyone have any photos?
