My mother listened to a religious broadcast in the late 40's and in the 50's. The lady minister, Sister Beal, had to be one of the first women I recall behind the pulpit. I believe she was from the Bethesda Temple or perhaps the broadcast name was "Bethesda Temple of the Air". I was a very young girl at that time but I do remember this program and since my mother, who is 93, asked about it I thought I would see if anyone could tell me a little more. The opening song was "I'd Rather Have Jesus" but we don't remember who sang it. Thanks for any information someone may have.
