My grandmother originated on a farm in Voss. She was born there in 1894 and her name was Lena Fenne. She married a man in Chicago named Peter Peterson from the Reinartsen family on Kvitsoy. I am trying to find out if the name Fenne is derived from a town near Voss, a farm near Voss or a family name. Please advise the origin of the name and reference source.
