My father heinrich michai from romania -cluj was deportated in buchenwald. he was forced to join an avacuation march. thanks to the fact that he was a watchmaker he survived beeng pushed in the front group. does any one remember? he was eliberated during the march by us. army . he was best friend with a few soldiers. fixed their watches. they wanted him to join them to the states but my mother survived also in aushwitz so they staied toghether. and so i come.
