My family came from Dahlonega and I would like to ask if anyone knows of them? They were miners and my gggg-grandfather and grandmother are buried in Aurora(sorry about the spelling). The Family names I am looking for is----Thomas and Agnes Edwards, William Green Edwards (one of their sons). Agnes' family was Calahan (that is the spelling that I am finding) and Carnes. I actually found a ggg-uncle in the History of Lumpkin County. He came into town around 1900 and told the reporter about Lumpkin County as it had been.
