My defroster in running but my control panel to AC and fan aren't working but they are lighting up. Please Help

My friend has a 2003 the fan quit working his did'nt have a relay. he took the fan out took it apart and cleaned the motor very well and reinstalled it it's working fine now, hope this helped, jon

I replace the fan motor It didn't help but there is a fuse under the hood that is on the back wall of the engine that I replaced and now it works
