My deceased mother, Nancy Brisbane Ward, told me on numerous occassions that her father and my grandfather Frank Brisbane knew Bill McKechnie very well and in fact was responsible for Mr. McKecknie getting his first job in baseball. Frank brisbane was from Pittsburgh and also played professional baseball {Never made it to the Major Leagues} around the same time period.
