My brother was one of the youngsters who appeared on the Young Entertainers on Crackerjack. As there was no videos, dvds or the like at that time, I was wondering if there would be any recordings in the BBC archives where they could transfer the young entertainers segment onto DVD for me to give my bother as a surprise present?
It was a very impactful situation for me also as it was my first journey on a train, first visit to London, I became famous in school and had (& still have) autographs from Jan Hunt, Peter Glaze, Don Maclean and Ed Stewart.I was only 8. At present not sure of the exact dates. My brother won the first heat (along with a ballerina Lisa Flynn) then went into the semis where he lost out to the eventual winner, impressionist Tracey Brown.
Please advise if I can obtain these once submitted the dates.
