My ancestor Caleb Trowbridge was an officer in the American Revolution. According to the DAR he was taken prisoner during the Battle of Long Island. I want to know if there is a list of Americans who were prisoners and if there is a list of places these people were held. Any information regarding this would be appreciated. I am trying to document this event.
