I went to Church last Sunday
To offer up a prayer
I bowed my head and then knelt down
Wondering if Jesus was really there

I whispered `Jesus help a sinner`
While kneeling on the floor
When suddenly my tears did flow
As I looked towards the door

Where an old lady entered
Her feet were very sore
I prayed to God to help her pain
While kneeling on the floor

The Host was raised while we prepared
to cleanse our souls once more
The time was right with all my might
The Lord I did adore

My tears were nigh - oh God on High
Don`t ask for any more
He touched my soul and I felt great
While kneeling on the floor
