My Great Grandfather is from Sweden and when researching what brought him to northwestern Pa I was told that the Oprah singer Jenny Lind had purchased a large piece of property in Pa that was given for use of Swedish immigrants. I am trying find some info to back this up. Any help you could give me would be great.
