My Father Bert Bigham ( 1st Base )played for the Champion Grand Forks Chiefs in 1948. He is now 91 years old and ask me the other day if he ever hit against Bob Larsen who played for Aberdeen in 1948. My Fathers stats in 1948 were 120 games played and approx 436 at bats. He hit 271 approximately.

Bert signed with the Grand Forks Chiefs after WW2 and signed with the Yankees Class C team at the advanced age of 27!!
He played his College Baseball at Illinois Weslyan prior to the War.

Are there any box scores available from the 1948 season showing my Fathers stats in batting against Bob Larsen. I believe Bob Larsen was 17 & 7 this year and cannot image my Father not hitting against him.
If anything is available to prove this our Family would be most grateful. My Father is not getting any younger and any information would bring joy to his heart.
