Mr. Schwartz recently mentioned the passing of Chris Conner, "All About Ronnie."
I've wondered about other big band singers, and singles, and what became of them.
Kay Starr, "Wheel of Fortune," has passed.
Helen O'Connell, "Green Eyes," with Bob Eberly has passed.
What has become of "Something Cool," June Christy?
The wheel-chair bound singer, Ella Mae Morse?
Lastly, Anita Ellis. She was terribly frightened of public appearances and so found a niche dubbing screen star voices for: Rita Hayworth, Jeanne Craine, Joan Caulfield, Shelley Winters, and Vera-Ellen. She did a PBS special in the late 70's I believe. Last heard that she had contracted Alzheimers and was living in a N.Y. Apartment overlooking Carl Schurz Park and the East River. Is she still with us?

I also wonder about Joni James - I have never heard any of her music on Siriusly Sinatra and think that odd.
