Hi Guys,
I'm new here. Frank Savery from w-a-y down south in Tasmania.

Is anyone here modelling or thinking of modelling the Welshpool & Llanfair in Larghe scale ???

Or, in any scale for that matter !

Cheers,
Frank S.

Hi Frank,
just noticed your question in passing and noticed you asked it some time ago.
I have been toying with the idea of modelling a W+LLR layout in 009. The big problem is the two locomotives as there are no RTR or kits in production. I have had to order two models from professional model makers of the loco in their Cambrian Railway guise. Rolling stock is less of a problem. The layout will likely be a fairly large exhibition layout, but this remains to be seen.

I have in the last year started garden railways and have bought lots of the 16mm/ft 1:19th scale Accucraft rolling stock and an Accucraft Countess, though there is no track laid in my garden. I have concrete footings and will construct brick track beds on top of that but I'll have to wait till the weather gets nicer in the spring.
The Railway itself won't be based on the W+LLR but most of the trains running on it will be.

Good luck.
PS By the way I live in Suffolk, England.
