Last year I bought in Avignon, France an 8ft mahogany lapstrake dinghy, in poor condition for 1.200 euros.
During last winter I spent aprox. 800 working hours to restore it, the most difficult task was to eliminate layers and layers of old paint, silicones and varnish.
I believe this is a 1930s-1950s English or Italian construction.
Anyone has any information about its provenance?
