My two year old Doe has just lost triplets during kidding. I knew she was very close to labour so put her in the kidding pen... we have had a huge storm overnight and I think this has stopped me from hearing when she has started to kid.. This morning all three were dead. She is now very stressed, wandering around bleating dreadfully. Is there anything I can do to help her?
She hadn't really cleaned up any of the goat's very well..
This was her second time, the first time she gave birth to two bucks, one was very healthy and robust and the second had a condition called Chevre Moue or Soft Goat Syndrome, but he went on to be just fine after a few injections from my vet.
She was a really attentative mother the first time around..Why woudld this happen and can anything be done?
