Just so people understand , at one time over 100,000 years ago , that Bearing Strait at one time , was a solid land mass of ice , earth and snow . The Mongolian people known as the Letchi Siberios Lenapi crossed this bridge to the what is known as the Americas today . My people were the first of those to cross , landing eventually from the main body of people in what is Thunder Bay Ontario now a days . My people still speak the original language , known as the Lenapis Siberica language . Today we all speak Algonquin because of the overall grouping made and it is easier to understand than my people's original language . In our language we say Tu-t'chi Kwane or We'll see you later . NOw in Algonquin we say "Akwane" or a general hello or departure greeting . . . Note the difference .
