We have a female newfoundlander landseer. She is 4 years old and she is fabulous. I have read a lot of comments about them and I'm very surprised. Most comments indicate that they drool and shed a lot. My female landseer does not drool a lot, she only drools when we go for a walk, most dogs do. She will put a few drops of water on the floor after drinking also. For the shedding, yes she does shed but not like a Great Dane and Lab. Now, they shed. I brush her every other day and we also get her grommed every 3 months. I also wanted to share that I'm also a Clean Freak, so our home needs to be very clean at all times. Our landseer is the greatest dog.
