Greetings,
I was a member of the honor team 11 of the Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol School conducted at the 24th Infantry Division Noncommissiond Officers Academy, Augsburg Germany in May of 1959. Team 11 of the 1st Battle Group, 24th Infantry received letters of accomadation from Major General Ralf C. Walker, Commanding.
I myself was shipped overseas from the 82nd Airborn Division and no sooner reached Germany when the 11th was either disbanded or sent back to the states, I am not sure which. I landed in the 24th Division (good outfit) but screwed out of my jump statis.
I don't believe the 11th was part of LLRP?
