Korean War Battle Stars? Shelton made 3 trips to WestPac during Korean War. On ship 3 trippers were told could wear 4 stars, 2 trippers were told 3. I have written 2 letters to NavRec and got diff ans each time Last ans was 1 star for my 2 trips. Several places on internet list 790 awarded 8 battle stars. Would like some exact data for ships reunion this year. Seems to me that if someone was on ship for 3 trips they should rate 8 stars. Thanks if. Ernie ET 51-54
