There have been 3475 MofH awards including 19 double recipients. I believe that 83 are still living.
There have been 1356 VC recipients including three double recipients and one ungazetted award to the American Unknown Warrior of the First World War. Just five are still living with one each from the Second World War, Korea, Sarawak, Vietnam and Iraq.
