Just bought at a local auction what was called an 1892 French Lebel 8mm Carbine w/bayonette". Has on it MA S 4895, MLE (the LE is set upper half) 1892, Pt Elienne, D 32958, CG @@(Circles with M in them), 82411. It does not have the metal sides above and forward the trigger. I've just started on the internet to try and figure out just what I do have. Any help would be appreciated.
