The Miss World pageant will be moved from this year's Sanya to Erdos, the land of Genghis Khan, according to Julia Morley, chairperson of the beauty contest.
Erdos, a small industrial town in Inner Mongolia, is today best known for its mineral resources and cashmere, but it may soon become connected with something very different.
