I've got a grandson who was cut from his Peewee A hockey team. The coach said it was because he wasn't progressing as much as he should. He's a good kid, not a great hockey player but he's not that bad either. The team he played on last year had a kid who hit the asst. coach over the head with his stick and swore like a trooper. This kid didn't get cut. My grandson took all kinds of exta training in order to get better and did all he was told but to no avail. My question is "At A level is this a common occurrence? This has devestated not only my grandson but his parents too. He lives in Oakville and traveled every game and every practice to TO and this is their reward.
