It is my understanding that an optical drop has been developed by the Ophthalmologist society in Jamaica containing certain elements/compounds extracted from the marijuana plant that is used and found extremely effective in the treatment of glaucoma.

I further understand that the medication is not available in the United States. I need to verify the existence of the medication and also the name of the drug.

I have wide angle glaucoma and my pressure is high normal and surgery has been recommended. I know that marijuana has been found to reduce intra-ocular pressure but I am extremely hesitance to expose myself and family to the possible consequences of using marijuana for health reasons
in the State of Texas.
