Is there any source of information about living conditions in the city of Babylon or the Babylonian Empire?

If there is, what is it?

Can it be accessed to read on the internet?

I think it would destroy a somewhat believable story
of the tower of Babel which some religions believe
the creator of the universe had a holy hand in.

This story appeared in Omni/Discover Magazine several
years ago about the tower.

That thing had been under construction for several
years when these 3 sculptors with sharp tools were
called to Babylon. AS they neared the junction of
the Euphraties and Tigris river this huge column
appeared with the top penetrating the clouds. This
was the completed Tower of Babel. It had reached
heaven and these craftsmen were needed to chisel
through the marble barrier at the top of the
tower separating earth from heaven. So now You
know where it was built and the reason.

You are wrong, they never finished the tower of babel. God stopped them and split up all the workers by language. Each language moved out to different areas. It's in the Bible, look it up.
