Is there a way to find my father and which U-boat he served on by means of a data-base or something??? The information that he left me with was very minimal...he was commisioned as a diesel mechanic on his first tour. After the second tour he was taken as a POW by the Americans till the end of the war in France....His history really intrigues me...
