Is there a list of Danish recipients of the Chevalier of the Order of the Dannebrog anywhere??
I found many descriptions of it but no lists of personnel.
I am looking for proof that Sir Paul Lovernorn Munster (1783-1871) from Bornholm Denmark was knighted by Napoleon for service in the Napoleonic wars. I've searched multiple sites to no avail. An 1861 reference to him as a resident in Belfast cites him as Chevalier of the Order of the Dannebrog - which began my search.
