Is my van a lemon?????.
Since October 2011 when I purchased a Mercedes Benz Sprinter, I have been continually addressing mechanical issues. Within two months of receiving my new van I was faced with replacing the thermostat.In January 2012, the harmonic balancer required repairing, my van was again towed away.Now I am faced with further issues, the van now requires all the pulleys to be replaced.
Today, I compared my van to another exact MB 316 model and I was astounded at the difference with the two vans, especially regarding the noise output – my van is extremely noisy compared to the other van. I have also received comments from some of my customers regarding the noise of my new van, I thought that this was just the typical amount of noise given from the van. It has been suggested to me that the harmonic balancer has never been in a good operating manner since I received the new vehicle approx 3 months operating with faulty equipment.
