I have found having 2 of every thing works better and the animals seem happier with a friend...think about people, in general we like a friend to be around. In the beginning I had a gosling and my daughter had one. She gave up bec her gosing needed so much attention so she gave me the gosling... when that happened the male gosling I had no longer was devoted to my son but bonded with the female gosling..from then on out he was more aggressive and protective of his companion....after 12 yrs together she has just died and he is more demanding and noisy....we have to keep the pool for him clean all the time and feed him more food than normal...he squawks for attention too. I am wondering if I should get a female gosling for him. Anyone done that before?
