It says this about lead cutting after soldering 7.5.5.8

When lead cutting is performed after soldering the solder termianations need to be either reflowed or visually inspected under 10x to ensure that the solder connection has not been damaged or deformed.

My question is this: What is the definition of the word "deformed". What does a deformed solder joint look like> This is a visual situation that will be different with each person that is looking at it. Where is the proof that a solder joint is either damaged or deformed in IPC-A-610?
