I think you have a point, in that tens of thousands of innocent civilians have been killed in Iraq, and no one seems to care!

On the other hand, people shouldn't be killing each other at all, really.

people are always going to kill each other for a lot of reasons
always

some people will think is right. others wrong
but it happens hundreds of times a day
its human nature to kill .
that is just the way it is
to me columbine was like holy war.

The big difference here being that this happened in the USA. We certainly don't want our country to disintegrate and become grounds for some holy war like the Middle East. We have the constitutional right to pursue happiness SO LONG as we are not HARMING others that have that SAME right. In that case, you have relinquished your right to pursue happiness.

You're right, people will always kill others. It's sad, but true. However, as cold as it sounds, it has a lot to do with WHERE the killing takes places. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold are considered murderers. They walked into a school full of unsuspecting students and started shooting to kill. That's an act of terror. That attack was not a war, and they will never be considered soldiers. You can't discount the victims as "collateral" because it wasn't a war.

Human nature to kill? But it's also human nature to nurture. No one should be killing anyway, but human's emotions get too conflicted.
