I'm writing a thesis about the impact of the introduction of IFRS on stock options. Up till now I have found that IFRS 2 is responsible for this impact. This standard requires companies to recognise stock options as an expense and also requires mandatory disclosure, the use of certain valutaion models. Are there main effects of this regulation that I have to consider?
