I'm new to linox and have obtained Ubuntu to use to recover data on a blacked out Windows 7 computer. I have downloaded the Live CD and it will boot the dead computer. I do not know what to do next. I can see the data is still on the hard drive but I can only view it. How do I backup the data to an external drive using linox so I can then reinstall the Windows 7 OS and then restore the data to the newly installed Windows 7 OS computer? There is about 67 GB of data I need to recover. Any suggestions or referrals to detailed instructions will be appreciated. Thanks
