I'm looking for information on John Kearney, a relative who who joined the 6th Wisconsin May 10, 1861, in Ohio but served as a private in Company D of the 6th Wisconsin. He was wounded and taken prisoner on July 1.

Any information will be welcome, but I especially want any account of his captivity.
