I'm a little confused about Helen's last name. When she is at Wildfell hall, she is referred to as Helen Graham, but she is married to Arthur Huntingdon. Why do they refer to her this way? And what is her real alst name?

Sometimes, women keep their last names even after marriage. Also, it may be that Graham is her pen name, as that is the same way with authors after they are married, so as to not confuse the public.
