What? There's no place for ignorance in a religion that venerates Jesus as a prophet of theirs, but in the same breath, call him a liar and a hoax for claiming to be the Son of God? H-m-m-m...define ignorance, then.

Ignorance is a state of mind that has either of these:

doesnt want to learn
doesnt do research
gets angered quickly in intelligent matters
depends on who said what
has bias on issues that sem not to be in their favour thugh they may be true
unproductive arguments designed for winnig their side
the right of winning is theirs and there is no compromise
he/she never questions opinions or teachings of the church pple thinking all that they do is absolutely right
that mindset that knows that it can never be wrong,put right to correct its defect or nutured to accept facts

one who has the above is a very disturbing and problematic personality to deal with...so i suppose you have known where the challenge lies....openess,interdisciplinary argumentation and proof of intellect will make you a viable and worthwile personality..
