I would like to give my 13 year old grandson a 1950's 870 wingmaster 20 ga. Naturally it isn't approved for steel shot but I have heard that Bismuth would work ok. The cost wouldn't be a factor as he wouldn't use a box all year. Also can this barrel be cut down to a youth size?
