back in the early 1990's Kathryn tickell appeared on the Jim Lloyd BBC folk show, I love her music, and on the show I was listening to, Kathryn tickell spoke of some of her favorite bands, some lovely fiddle music was played by a band, that started off very slow and built up to a tempo.
I would love to know who played the music, and if it is still possible to buy it.
all I remember is a few bands were mentioned. and I think one was the champion string band.
