I was wondering if the the student, Wes Leonard, from Fennville, Michigan, who made the game winning basketball shot then died suddenly from an enlarged heart underwent a "school physical" this year and what the school physical involved? I had approached the MHSAA, specifically, Tom Minter, in regards to trying to get better physicals placed in the high schools in Michigan that would provide and Electrocardiogram along with their regular physicals but was told that the "board" made the decision to just stick with family histories for now as they thought that would be enough....I wonder how the "board" would like to explain thier decision to Wes Leonards family...knowing that just this 2 minute test may have saved their sons life. Way to go MHSAA!!
