I was reading about the Sultans on Comoros. I am a descendant of Musa Fumu waFey Fumu and Mba Fumu waJumbe Fumu. These two sultans joined afterwards and during the French colonization, they ended up in Zanzibar island, Tanzania. Today, I'm in U.S and I definitely wish I could know more about my family tree for my future generation. Is there a way to start up a tree or something whereby people who are related to me can add there ancestors on it so I get to figure out who's who from ancestoral.

I just came across this page and read obout Sultan of Comoro particularly Musa Fumu waFey Fumu.I know my greatgrandfather is Msafoum Wafeyfum ( this is how it spells in all my fathers documents "Msafoum") I have heard about Mba Fumu but I must admit I don't know much about him .Iwent to Comoro as a young man and was much satisfied by what I have learnd from the stories I used to hear from my father.I met my uncles and my aunty and stayed in Msafoum(Musa Wafum)family house called JUMBE which means Palace in Moroni next to the main mousqe though it did not look like one but it was just as my father used to discribe it in his family tells.Iwish inspector Aboud Said was alive to day because he was the man who knew about Musa Fum waFeyfum history even he had his own radio program talking about Comoro history then.Well my name is Aliaman Abdulrahim Abdillah Msafoum born in Zanzibar we could be related.Get in touch

Seems like we might very well be...the name is the same, it does not matter how it's pronounce. I used to spell my last name Mbafoum as you do Msafoum, but I found out through historical documents, may be French?, which spell those name with a dash. Mbafum ruled Msamihuli and that's where my father's family came from and they marry to Msafoum, that's where my mother's family comes from. When I was in Zanzibar, there was an old lady named BiSharifa; I think she is still alive, she is the mother of Aziza and Khadija Abdillah. She will tell us all the time how we related and have stories to tell also. May be you know of this lady? She will tell me we are from Mbafoum and they from Msafoum, and both were from the womb of Foum wa Jumbe Foum. You know the royals were married among themselves while in Comoro and while in Zanzibar, the comorians were married among themselves. So there is no escaping relating to each other.
You never heard of Mbafoum? Well I know a couple of Mbafoum, even though there may be many. Saleh waMbafoum was my grandfather, there was Rabia wa Mbafoum, Aboud, Islam wa Mbafoum. I think its enough there for now

Check some sites about our ancestors who ruled the Comoros. I'll give them to you below, but I also want you know that the world governments pays reparation to certain people for taking their wealth and putting them through holocost like Jews. Today, Jews are compensated by the world government. I think that the World government owe us something too. They owe us everything they took from our ancestors. If my great grand parents owed slaves reparation then those slaves today wants reparation from me. I can't pay reparation if the people who took my ancestor's belongings do not return it. The French took all my people artifacts and wealth and I want it back in order that I can pay reparation.
Have you heard of reparation? do you know anything about it?
