I was doing a little research into American Football Salaries by country and I seem to have a problem finding how Japanese players are compensated. I have found numerous amateur football leagues that allow company sponsored teams to play, but players are not allowed to be payed to play as it is an amateur league. Instead the companies just assign jobs to the players within their company that are essentially practice and play football for us.

To make a long story short, Does anyone know if there is a professional league in Japan, and how much those players are compensated, as well as how much would a company sponsored player be paid?
