I was deployed solo from 2/7 to 3/4 Okinawa Japan Camp Schwab back in 81. I had been told that the thundering third had been over run and lost their colors there WWII and did not deploy as a Division. I recently met up with a Marine from 3/4 1988 who deployed with 3/4 as a division all over the glob??

Granted I was 17 "yes joined at 17" But I am sure thats what I told. The information on the Internet suggests I was wrong. Lost Battle in Philipens Disbannded and reastablished several times has been everywhere there has been conflict. Was this a harmless prank?
