I was aboard the USS Independence CV-62 4th and 2nd division from 1975 to 79. It breaks my heart to know they are or have sunk my ship. which brings me to my 1st question. Does anyone know the date they sunk the ship or has it not been sunk yet? They should offer anyone who spent time on her to have a part of the ship. Does anyone know if that is possible?
