I visited Capua to see where my grandfather was born(1876).I could not enter the church:San Eligio(huge door,locked;near Arc d'allessio)..the history I was told:my grandfather was left in "wheel"of the doorway of this church,on archway side,abandoned.
I can see info on church with same name ,in Naples,but not for this church in Capua..I would love to learn about it..anyone? grazie!
