I used to listen to Gene Shay's folklore on WMMR and WHAT. He had a theme song that an instrumental guitar song. what was the name?

I'm not so sure (it was long ago) but I think it was "Ladies of the Canyon" by Joni Mitchell. If you listen to this song, let us know if it sounds right.

Just looked at your message more closely. The theme song I mentioned was the one I think he used for his weekend folk song show, not a folklore show.

When I worked with Gene, we had two such themes. One was "St. Louis Tickle," but I think the more well known tune was "Mole's Moan," a Geoff Muldaur tune made popular by Tom Rush.
