I served in the "old" RCN from 1951 to 1956 on the Antigonish,Crusader,Cayuga and believe it or not the Oriole. Oh, and HMC Dockyard in Esquimalt. I was a signalman. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who may remember those days, both good and bad!

Was on Crusader when she was test ship for the sonar gear off the stern. Prosser was Boatswain i believe and Jenson was Cmdr/ I got into a lot of shit with prosser, hewas waiting for me . I jumped ship just before she went to Burmuda in summer of 56/57. I believe some called me "Wild Bill Elliott" I also did #5's on the jetty at Naval Armentent depot whhile ship was being checked out ??
remember a Spider somebody from Cape breton and a CPO Hunter also. Did a L/Cmdr Boyal come on board the crusader for a bit ,he wasa former Pilot !!!
Was Fraser Div.13 (Sunset Cermonial Guard) in Cornwallis 1955.
