I served in the 172nd Inf. at Fort Richardson, AK from 1976 to 1978. The Commanding Officer was BG James Boatner. I received an award (cant' recall what for) and had to go to the office of the Brigade CAM. a very impressive solider. I recall that he was a wearing a CIB with two stars. (Third Award) I understand that not many were awarded. Now the question does anyone know who this CSM was. For the life of me I can't remember his name. Thanks in advance for your help.
