I recently purchased at a Virginia estate sale, a small painting that, after some research, I think may have some value. The work is in pristine condition framed behind glass....the work is signed and a rather old handwritten sticker on the back of the frame reads "Lagarde on Ivory Signed" .....I can find very little on this artist - French? The detail of the young woman holding the flowers is mesmerizing...can anyone here recommend a place where I can possibly e-mail photos? I would love to learn who the girl in the painting is, and to learn more about this artist and if I should insure the work. Thank you!
